Take Away From Week 5

After learning about the different vocabulary strategies, I find the CSSR to be a hit for me. My lesson that I taught to the class was on nonfiction text features. One of the text features that was introduced was bold words. I read the book to the class and there was several bold words. So I would use this strategy to help the kids learn the bold words. Very interesting strategy!

    Yes this week was good for ideas to use in the class. It is interesting to hear how you are using the CSSR strategy. Keep it up, great use of the strategy.
