I haven't really decided what I am going to do my first lesson plan on. I know that I need to get to thinking about it so I can get started. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. With everything that goes on in my head, thinking can be challenging. I am going to start my observing next week so I'm hoping to be able to get some ideas then.
For some reason doing an integrated lesson plan for this class will be the easiest for me. I love picking one idea and incorporating all the different contents into it. Maybe fnd a book you like and then use it to make up different lessons.
ReplyDeletePick a subject, say, science, then go from there! Choose a reading, and then set up the lesson on what reading strategy you will use to help your students learn the info in the article.
ReplyDeleteI am right there with you with making a decision about what to do the lesson plans on. We all have so much going on between work, school, family, life, that it is hard to keep everything straight. I would suggest that you find something that is of interest to you.... and choose a subject...
ReplyDeleteEasier said than done... but we will all get through it and be on our way to becoming the best teachers we can be.
Yes it is hard and likewise for myself with all the FFA activities that we have going on and kids activities not to mention farm life. Yet lesson planning is something that I wish I was better about and knew more about before I started teaching.
